Becoming a channel is easier when you first realize you are seeking an education yourself. Asking questions is the quickest way to learn. In the same fashion, making detailed inquiries of the spirit being read is the quickest and easiest method for retrieving information. Don't be shy. Ask all the questions you want, as if you were meeting someone for the first time and would like to strike up a friendship. You may even ask some questions that you wouldn't ask a potential friend.
As a channel, one needs to be open to all possibilities. Nothing is impossible. With that in mind, look at rocks or crystals. Everything in the universe is made of the same energy units but is compiled in different forms such as human, mineral, or plant. For ease in beginning to learn to channel, the crystal emits more easily readable information.
Gather a group of like-minded individuals. Get several crystals together. Each person in the group needs paper and pens. Take a crystal, hold it, close it in your hand and with eyes closed request information from this stone. If you need to, then you may do a mini-meditation while holding the beautiful rock.
The easiest manner in which to receive information from the crystal is to ask questions of it. For instance, what is its color? Instantly, you will hear or mentally see a color. Ask if it the crystal has a male or female energy. The answer will come just as quickly. Ask if there is any other information it would like to impart. Again it will happen.
Any information you get from the crystal needs to be written down without letting the others in the group see the answers you have gotten. Pass the crystal to your partner and receive their crystal without talking.
After both of you have had a chance to read each crystal, compare notes aloud. Start by reading what this inanimate entity told you about itself. Do not be surprised when both you and your partner see much of the same material about the particular crystal you are reading. Others find it astonishing that these rocks can actually impart information.
