over, sometimes not so merrily. We take the path of least resistance and are therefore resistant to change.
Those patterns are learned behavior. They are habit. It takes a month of continuous resistance to those habits to break the cycle. This is not an easy experience for most, so they do not take the time or trouble to break a habit but continue to live the same cycle over and over.
Ghosts carry their personalities to the next dimension. With their very human behavior, they like the comfort of behaving as they did in the physical.
Without thinking of the consequences, they continue on with their way of doing the same things they did while alive. Usually there is no chance for change until that soul matures. Maturity comes with education. Education comes with experience.
Life teaches us by allowing experiences, both on the physical and astral side. When one dies physically, he can continue to learn by helping and watching human beings. Even death is an experience that teaches all those concerned with the dying person.
Some spirits are guides. Others are watchers. On the Other Side, there are those who know they can interact with physical human souls, and those who have not learned this yet.
The guides or angels who have learned they can interact with humans help people with our earthly education and thus aid themselves. Knowledge is experience. They experience the things that humans do when they are helping them to learn in the mundane world. This is so that both the human they are helping and the ghostly entity become more spiritual.
Of course, some of those ghosts are murderers who have died. They may find themselves able to interact with others, too. As guides now, they continue on the same path they had while alive in helping the people who have chosen someone like them for assistance.
Most guides can see the whole picture. They know before an action is taken what the outcome will be. The murderous guides either do not use this ability or prefer not to look most of the time.
